North Burnaby - Water Entry Room Upgrade
The water entry room was rebuilt from the ground up to modern standards. We removed the existing water entry stations and riser piping, replacing them with new domestic water piping, risers, and updated water entry stations. This upgrade also included hot and cold water piping throughout the parkade and mechanical room areas.
Maintaining water service while replacing critical infrastructure was a complex task. The location of the water entry room posed logistical challenges, as it connected directly to the building’s main water supply.
Our team installed a temporary bypass system to keep water flowing while the upgrades were completed. Work was carefully scheduled to minimize any necessary shutdowns, and residents were notified well in advance of potential disruptions. Strict adherence to work hours (8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday) ensured consistency and predictability for those on-site.
